SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING FOLLOWING THE PROGRAM
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MEETING PLEASE ATTEND
REORGANIZING
The IBH is reorganizing a little. Our reorganization will be discussed at
the general membership meeting. We will continue our habitat programs, but
we are redesigning our programs and how we communicate with members and the
public. Hear what we have to offer and suggest ways the organization improve.
HABITAT PROJECTS FOR 2002
IBH will work with BLM again this spring and do some plantings and more work
on our Dry Creek sage grouse habitat project. The plantings are tentatively
scheduled for April and May. The Dry Creek project will be another weekend
project for the 1st or 2nd weekend in June. As always the project work depends
on access and weather. We are signing people up now. Call Russ at 322-8645
and get your name on a project list.
Fish and Game Commission Initiative
If you have not signed the petition to reduce political influence with
the Fish and Game Commission and wish to sign call Russ at 322-8645. Russ
will connect you with a petition carrier or location to go to sign one. If
you want to help gather signatures call Russ. We have until the end of April
to get 43,685 valid signatures. Help fish and wildlife and the Idaho citizens
that enjoy fish, wildlife and the recreation connected with fish and wildlife.
