VERY IMPORTANT DATES
It is only days away, you are right the opening of the forest grouse season on September 1st, on Labor Day. Have a successful hunt. Nineteen days later, you guessed it, on September 20th the upland bird season opens along with sage grouse and sharptail grouse. If you hunt sage grouse or sharptails, make sure you get the validation for hunting these species. Migratory bird seasons

Mourning doves open September 1st, remember, a migratory bird harvest information program validation is required. Waterfowl - Idaho will return to a zone system for this year's 107 day season. The Southwest and Magic Valley season run from October 11 through January 23rd for both ducks and geese. In the Southwest and Magic Valley, pintails and canvasbacks run October 11 through December 9th. Bag limits the same as last year. The youth waterfowl hunt is September 27th and 28th, statewide.

A couple of weeks ago the president of IBH sent a letter to the membership. It would help the president of this organization and the board of directors if each member responds. Your feedback is important to us and will help us direct the future of the organization.
