We hope this periodic publication will keep you informed of the exciting progress at Duckworth Boat Works, Inc. as we introduce new products, refine our current models, expand our independent dealer network, and continue our commitment to offering the uncompromising quality associated with Duckworth. A lot has happened since February 1998 when Duckworth Boat Works acquired the manufacturing rights and assets for Duckworth boats. Our new management team, combining with the experienced team of Duckworth boat builders, is implementing new and expanded production resources and designs. We have expanded from just two dealers to eight independent dealers (with the likely addition of several more dealers in the markets in 1999) by forging a positive working relationship between Duckworth, the dealers and Duckworth boat owners. A constant has been our drive to offer Duckworth's uncompromising quality in all our boats, backed by a written warranty as complete as any in the marine industry. Our key asset continues to be the core of highly experienced and dedicated Duckworth boatbuilders who joined Duckworth Boat Works and brought with them decades of cumulative Duckworth boat building experience. The upcoming 2000 model year will see several new Duckworth models (the first since the early 90's) and a number of refinements in our existing models. You are also seeing the venerable workhorse V-8 engine, the Ford 302, marinized by Redline, back in the Duckworth line-up. Using our new resources, Duckworth Boat Works was able to secure an exclusive supplier arrangement with Ford Motor Company whereby Duckworth has secured exclusive rights to all remaining Ford 302 engines. Packaged in our sporty 18' and 19' Pro Series jet boats, this is an exciting, powerful and affordable package for new or old Duckworth owners. Check them out at your local dealer now. We are committed to continue the Duckworth legend of offering uncompromising quality in welded aluminum sport, fishing and specialty boats, from the 16' Kenai to the custom built 42' cabin cruisers and tour boats, as a matter of fact, we are just completing a 32' specialty boat for the Las Vegas Valley Water District utilizing twin Chevy 502's, Hamilton 241 jet pumps, a full hardtop, air conditioning, bathroom/sink and work areas.
